Quarter turns are written as rotation metadata: instant, with no re-encode and no quality loss.
No watermarks, no signup, and no fixed file size or length cap.
Drag a file in, or click to browse. MP4, WebM, MOV, and MKV work well.
Choose a quarter turn, fine-tune any angle, flip it, trim the ends, and pick how the canvas should fit.
Quarter turns finish almost instantly with no quality loss. Flips and custom angles render a fresh MP4 or WebM in your browser.
Open your video above, press Left or Right (or the [ and ] keys) until it is upright, then select Export video and download it. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
No. The entire rotation happens inside your browser using the WebCodecs API and an open-source library called mediabunny. The file never leaves your device.
Not for 90°, 180° or 270° turns with the default Expand canvas: the video is left untouched and only its rotation flag changes, so it is lossless and nearly instant. Flips, custom angles, trims, Crop or Fill, and size changes redraw every frame, which re-encodes at a high bitrate so the result stays very close to the original.
Phones record in one orientation and store a rotation flag. If the phone guessed wrong when you started filming, or a player ignores the flag, the video shows sideways. Rotate it here to fix it. If an old player or editor still shows it sideways, turn on Maximum compatibility to bake the turn into the picture.
Yes. A 90° turn swaps width and height. To keep the original frame shape instead, choose Crop or Fill. Fill zooms in so there are no empty corners, and Blur fills the edges with a soft copy of the video.
Pick Fill to zoom in until the frame is covered, or keep Expand or Crop and set Corners to Blur for a soft background instead of black.
Open this page in Safari or Chrome on your phone, tap to choose a video from your library, rotate it, and tap Download. On iPhone the file saves to Files; you can then save it to Photos from the share sheet.
A 90° or 270° turn swaps width and height (a 1920×1080 video becomes 1080×1920). Custom angles with Expand make the canvas slightly larger. You can also choose a smaller size, such as 720p, under Export settings.
Yes. Use the scissors button under the preview, drag the trim handles, or press I and O to set the start and end at the playhead.
Not yet. The rotation applies to the whole video (or the trimmed part you keep).
MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV, and most common formats. If your video uses an unusual codec, we automatically fall back to a transcoder so it still works. You can download the result as MP4 or, in browsers that support it, WebM.
Yes, it is free, with no watermark, no signup, and no fixed size or length limit. Browser memory and device speed set the practical ceiling.
Vertical (9:16) suits TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and Stories. Horizontal (16:9) suits YouTube, TVs, and laptops. Rotate a sideways clip to match where it will be watched.
Yes. It works in modern browsers including Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox on iOS, Android, tablets, and desktop.
